Difference between using FTP (eg Filezilla) and enabling clipboard in Remote Desktop Sessions.
I am currently learning what the different forms of network protocols mean and I am wondering what the difference is between the following:
1: Using the clipboard on a remote desktop session and pasting a file, for example, from my local desktop to the desktop on the server.
2: Using file explorer to navigate to the servers C:// drive and pasting the file there.
3: Using a program such as FileZilla to move files on the network. Is it just a matter of FileZilla being able to handle bigger transfers than a clipboard can hold or even it adds security.
If I am missing something basic, please let me know. Thanks
