Book/Source to learn the GENERAL concepts of programming? (non-language specific)
I'm beginning with Python and it's going pretty good. But there are some concepts that are mentioned here and there, and it kind of assumes that I know about these things.
For example, it mentions things about different data types, structures, syntax, etc.
Are there some kind of basic/beginner general programming primers/books/tutorials/videos that are not language specific—go into the concepts and ideas that are commonplace, or prevalent, across many or all languages?
EDIT: Of course I know how to google these specific terms. But then I don't know if I'm getting a comprehensive understanding of all that I need to know.
