Writing a program to take user input and generate a script in two different scripting languages. Point me in the right direction?

Essentially I want to translate the users input to a Qt Creator GUI into a script in Python and another scripting language.

I'm relatively new to programming so the only idea I have is to make the main program (which is in cpp) as general as possible and then get the necessary syntax from two separate .txt files using the basic fstream operations. And finally printing the script into a new file.

Is this the right idea? Any resources you can point me to?
