How long did it take you before you wrote a real and useful program (with Python)?
Hello programmers of Reddit.
I'm currently two weeks in learning Python. I've already finished the Codecademy course and now reading the book "Automate the Boring Stuff with Python". I know the basic syntax and some basic concepts, but I can't write any useful (small) programs. All I can is writing simple simple and stupid programs, like:
question = input("Is Michael stupid?") if question != "yes": print("That's not the correct answer.") else: print("That is correct!")
So how long did it take you before you wrote your first useful program, which has real world applications?
